Huawei Mate XT black edition revealed with unique gold finishing
Huawei will launch the Mate XT tri-foldable in two color variants: reddish brown and dark black. The company has only revealed the first version so far. However, a new input brought an official-looking tri-fold render, revealing the “Black-Gold” variant.
Tipster @WangzaiKnowsEverything shared a render of the Huawei Mate XT which shows the Black-Gold color variant. The new shade appears a bit less catchy and stunning compared to the luxurious red. Yet, it seems bold and classy to the eyes.
Overall design of the black variant is similar to the reddish-brown color. It has golden edges all around. The hinge and the optical framework rim have a thin-line pattern which exhibits detailing to the device. It reflects well the metal and leather fusion.
The tipster further asked netizens which color they would like to pick from the two shades. Many people picked the black color while some opted for the red one. It’s an unofficial rendering and the real-time device’s image could be more appealing.
Mate XT tri-fold is said to be a large and light phone. It seems quite thin over the regular foldable handsets in the market. One of the major concerns for a foldable is its durability. Perhaps, Huawei will unveil better folding mechanics tomorrow.
As per the reservation details, Huawei Mate XT Ultimate Design will bring two storage options: 512GB and 1TB paired with 16GB RAM. It will likely sport a triple camera setup with a 50MP + 13MP and a periscope lens. The specs are similar to Mate X5.
Genuine Leather could be another addition that will make the device’s back cover more durable and tougher against external damage, scratches, slips, and more.
