Huawei established Intelligent and Connected Automobile Industry Innovation Center in Wuhan

Recently, Huawei has inaugurated the Huawei Intelligent Connected Vehicle Innovation Center in the Smart Eco-city of the Economic Development Zone in Wuhan, China.

At this center, Huawei will actively research and work in the fields related to technological innovation, talent incubation, and industrial ecosystem cultivation in the local industry, and make efforts to “bring the digital world.”

The vision of Huawei’s smart car solutions is to deeply promoted and served capabilities to local enterprises, universities, and institutions, striving for the common ideal of building a “trillion-level automobile industry cluster”.

According to the information, back in January, Huawei, and Wuhan Economic Development Zone signed an intelligent networked automobile industry cooperation agreement.

Both the companies will do jointly technological innovation and standard research and development around the coordinated development of intelligent vehicles and smart cities in the Wuhan National Intelligent Networking Demonstration Zone.

Regarding this, Huawei’s intelligent automotive solutions chief architectural officer, Li Xiaojun mentioned that the Wuhan Economic Development Zone with Huawei has maintained close and comprehensive cooperation.

However, in the last three years, the scope and depth of cooperation substantially increase, and the companies’ major focus was on social governance, social security, intelligent networking, and other fields. For further research and development, Huawei has taken this step and established an innovation center.
