Alleged Huawei Luxeed S9 smart car spotted in spy shots
Huawei has recently launched the AITO M9 smart car on the user ground and for the time being, a new electric vehicle named Luxeed S9 started emerging in leaks and spy shots. In the latest edition, the respective car was spotted in new images and revealed design details.
According to Weibo sources, the Huawei Luxeed S9 spy shots highlight a few parts of the new electric car. Notably, these images don’t showcase the entire vehicle, they give an idea of certain aspects regarding the car’s appearance.
For instance, the Luxeed S9 continues to adopt a robust headlight layout, similar to the Luxeed S7. Besides, the roof of the car equips a 192-line lidar for better detection of objects. This equipment confirms that the car uses the Huawei ADS 2.0 smart vehicle solution.
Next, the spy shots throw light on the fastback design, implemented at the rear side of the alleged vehicle. The car appears in an elongated shape with a rock-solid body and has frameless doors with hidden handles.
Looking at the other parts, Luxeed S9 images point out the red brake caliper cover. Eventually, it seems like the new smart vehicle will significantly focus on performance efficiency. Unlike Luxeed S7, it won’t appear as a weaker variant in the smart car market.
Aside from appearance, the respective car model installs forward-leaning equipment for the driver’s convenience. Everything combined, the Luxeed S9 appears as a mid-size SUV. Perhaps, it will show up at the launch stage in Q2 2024.
