DC Dimming feature update for P30 series expanding to more countries

The DC Dimming feature update for Huawei P30 and P30 Pro is now expanding to more countries, which reduces frequent flashing or flickering of the smartphones with AMOLED display, causing eye strain.

There is also a new ultra-low latency Bluetooth update that helps reduce the delay in audio sending from the device directly to your connected headsets and speakers. The update is also said to improve the speed and consistency of the in-display fingerprint reader.

Huawei P30 and P30 Pro receiving these features with EMUI version 9.1.0.175.

Note: The EMUI versions and update size may vary depending on the market and models.

If you want to check for the update manually you can do this by following the instruction below:

Go to Settings > System > Software update > Check for Updates. If an update is available, it’ll ask if you want to download it.

If the update does not appear in the settings, we recommend you to request it via HiCare App:

Go to HiCare app > tap on Update > click on the checkbox and hit Apply.
