Huawei and Telkomsel signed 5G City joint innovation memorandum
Huawei and Telkomsel together have signed a memorandum for the 5G City Joint Innovation. According to this agreement, both the cooperations will mutually take charge of research, verification, and arrangement of the newest 5G techs and applications.
Telkomsel is the long-term and significant strategic partner of Huawei. It is the first Indonesian operator to launch 2.3GHz-based 5G services. Further, it has introduced a bunch of new 5G facilities to nine cities including Jakarta. In short, we can say that Telkomsel has played a crucial role in the 5G digital transformation in Indonesia.
