Today, Huawei announces the first TWS earbuds powered by HarmonyOS NEXT – the FreeBuds Pro 4. After several leaks and speculations, the OEM has officially revealed the new earbuds’ look and confirmed its latest software support.
Huawei announces its new earbuds on Weibo and shared an image of the FreeBuds Pro 4. The form factor of these earbuds seems similar to the previous-gen models. But there is a major difference in design and probably in the color schemes.
The company hasn’t revealed much about this new device. Yet, it clarifies that the earbuds will come out of the box with HarmonyOS NEXT. The teaser caption says:
“The first TWS headset equipped with HarmonyOS NEXT, #HuaweiFreeBuds# Pro 4 is coming soon. On November 26, Huawei Mate Brand Festival, please look forward to it.”
FreeBuds Pro 4 teaser image reflects a new design. The curves and silicon buds are identical to predecessors. Although the grooves on the sides and the earbud’s back case (the holding part) show grille patterns for a more appealing look.
Inputs further reveal a black-metallic shade on the earbuds for a classy appearance. Another change is the Huawei Sound logo on the back in golden color, giving a luminous look. The back cover stick is surrounded by a golden thick rim.
Early leaks claimed that Huawei FreeBuds Pro 4 will bring significant and interesting upgrades over its predecessors. The device could feature new AI capabilities that will enhance the audio and connectivity experiences for users.
It may also accompany an upgraded noise cancellation feature to offer the best and most immersive sound experience. Other changes include an enhanced Celia wake-up feature to perform certain operations quickly without opening your phone.
Huawei will reveal these features in detail on November 26. Till then, we may hit some more amazing products that could debut alongside the Mate 70 series.
