Huawei confirmed EMUI 12 eligibility for Huawei Nova 8i

Huawei Nova 8i smartphone comes pre-installed with EMUI 11 and is now ready to upgrade to the latest EMUI 12 software version. Recently, the Chinese phone maker has confirmed the EMUI 12 eligibility for Huawei Nova 8i mid-range smartphone.

Huawei has made the weekend joyful for the Nova 8i owners by releasing the EMUI 12 confirmation news. However, the company has not disclosed any information related to EMUI 12 beta activity for the corresponding.

On the flip side, Huawei has begun the EMUI 12 beta for some popular global mid-range smartphones such as Y9 Prime 2019, Y9s, P Smart Pro, P Smart Z, and more through EMUI 12 Beta app.

It seems that the second phase of EMUI 12 beta has started in the overseas market for budget smartphones. Meanwhile, most of the flagships and prominent Huawei devices have upgraded over EMUI 12 so far.

So, Nova 8i users are you ready to install EMUI 12? If yes, then you have a wait until the stable release. But, if you eagerly waiting to test EMUI 12 features, then participate in the beta program once it starts.

Huawei Nova 8i comes with a 6.67-inch OLED display with 2376 x 1080 screen resolution, powered by the octa-core Snapdragon 662 processor with 4G connectivity and pre-installed with EMUI 11.

The Nova 8i comes expands at 161.85 x 74.7 x 8.58 mm and weighs 190g. On the rear side, it has a quad-camera system consisting of a 64MP main camera + an 8MP ultra-wide-angle  + 2MP macro camera  + 2MP depth of field.
