Huawei details EMUI June 2024 security patch as EMUI 14.2 reaches users
We are in June 2024 and Huawei has now released the current month’s security patch details for EMUI-powered devices. These improvements for your phone will optimize privacy and data safety, making the device tougher against malicious threats.
Huawei is also focusing on the major EMUI 14.2 rollout for its top flagship models and serving new features to both beta and non-beta users. Though the update is currently reaching only those devices that were listed on the EMUI 14 beta campaign.
It is unclear whether the company will initiate the major software upgrade distribution for other devices in the future. Although you will still be able to grab some new enhancements and bug fixes with the latest June 2024 security patch firmware.

Huawei has published the EMUI June 2024 security patch details with 8 high-level vulnerabilities. Other sections like critical and low don’t count any exploits this time.
The company has also included fixes for UI and the device system like lock screen module, screenshot capturing, memory, audio module, Calendar module, and more. Hence, you should install this patch as it arrives on your smartphone/tablet.
