Huawei Enjoy 80 rumored to feature 5.5G network capability
Huawei Enjoy 80 could debut this month with some surprising characteristics such as the 5.5G network support. Yes, the new device is rumored to bring the top-end network technology for a seamless connectivity and internet browsing experience.
Enjoy series is a budget-friendly smartphone lineup in the Huawei family. It is usually packed with entry-level components, a mid-range chip, and minimal features to deliver an effective user experience. But this trend may change with the Enjoy 80.
Weibo tipster @FixedFocus implies that the Huawei Enjoy 80 could support 5.5G network technology. The device may bear some flagship-level features this time.
5.5G or 5G-A is an upgraded version of the 5G network. It is a bridge between 5G and 6G. It offers a downlink speed of 10 Gbps, an unlink speed of 1 Gbps, and 100 billion connections. The tech resolves reliability, power consumption, and lagging issues.
The company was in rumors to feed the 5.5G network to its phones starting this year. After the Mate 70, the company may bring this tech to its entry-level model.
Inputs further reveal that the Enjoy 80 phone might equip a new mid-range Kirin 7 series chip for improved performance. The chipset name is unknown at present.
The accuracy of the current leak is still in the doubt circle. Huawei hasn’t announced the Enjoy 80 or confirmed any of its revelations yet. Hence, let’s take this input with a grain of salt at the moment and wait for the official details on this matter.
Earlier leaks revealed that Enjoy 80 will follow its predecessors for the camera specs. It will likely feature a 50MP primary lens and a 2MP macro sensor. The device could hold an 8MP selfie camera on the face at the center. Besides, it may adopt an improved under-display fingerprint scanner for efficient unlocking scenarios.
