Huawei improves Nova 7 SE 5G system security with November 2020 security patch
Huawei has begun sending a new software update for Huawei Nova 7 SE 5G. This update mainly brings the security patch released in November 2020 that enhances the security of the system by fixing exploits and issues.
Yesterday, we had reported that Huawei is planning to launch the new variant of Huawei Nova 7 SE 5G that comes with a 2.2 GHz eight-core processor, 48MP rear camera, 16MP selfie camera, 4000mAh battery, and more as well as it is cheaper than its precessors.
WHAT’S NEW:
Version: Huawei Nova 7 SE 5G users getting the EMUI 10.1 version 10.1.1.200 updated from 10.1.1.198.
Application: Added the Huawei Education Center app.
Security: Integrates Android security patches released in November 2020 for improved system security.
November 2020 Security Patch Details: November 2020 security update install security fixes for different levels of exploits and issues within Honor phones including 3 critical and 15 high levels of CVEs.

- The update is rolling out in batches so it may take some time/days to reach your device.
- The update will not erase any data.
UPDATE INSTRUCTIONS:
Download via Settings:
- Open Settings
- Click on the System & updates
- Open Software update
- Tap on Check for updates option
- If an update is available, click on Download and install
- After installation Reboot the device
Download via Support app:
- Open the Support app on your device
- Go to the Service tab
- Click on the update button
- Tap on Check for update option
- If an update is available, click on Download and install
- After installation Reboot the device
