Huawei introduces Watch Ultimate Design Sapphire Gold Edition

On November 26, Huawei welcomed a new member to its wearable gallery – the Watch Ultimate Design Sapphire Gold Edition. The device is wrapped in a beautiful shiny appearance and resembles the fusion of ocean and gold at every angle.

This is the first Huawei sapphire + gold smartwatch that brings power to the wrist. The device uses a sapphire bezel which is hand-polished and laser engraved.

Design

It has been colored coated with over 70 processes and offers 99.999% ultra high clarity, making the device pure, transparent, and natural. The crowns on the sides are made with the gold plating technology. It reveals golden knife-like patterns.

Watch Ultimate Design Sapphire Gold Edition uses old manual methods to emboss six sections of 18K gold bars around it. The company has further used the ultra-strong amorphous zirconium alloy for the watch’s dial case and aerospace-grade titanium alloy for the strap. This merger increases the durability of the device.

Also known as Huawei Blue Gold watch, the new Ultimate Design Sapphire Edition is 4.5 times strengthful and 2.5 times stiffer than the stainless steel wearables.

Features

Coming to the features, the new Sapphire + Gold Edition brings exclusive watch faces. For instance, Polar Exploration, Deep Ice Fantasy, Starry Sky, and Unfinished Exploration. All these faces give a more premium look to the wrist gadget.

The device supports a two-way satellite SMS feature and lets you send or receive SMS, preset messages, and customize messages for your contacts in no-network areas. It also acts as a UWB smart car control key and unlocks the car when nearby.

Other features include exclusive themes (blue + gold), Bluetooth calling, NFC, downloading third-party apps, and screen capturing. Huawei Watch Ultimate Design Sapphire Gold Edition also features Gold, Diving, and Outdoor adventure modes.

Speaking of the health features, the new Sapphire Gold Edition tells your health report based on heart rates, sleep duration, vascular activity, ECG analysis, respiratory, and plateau (detects risk of altitude sickness) health.

There’s also an Emotional Wellness app that helps you understand as well as improves your emotions with breathing exercises and other relevant workouts.

Specifications

Huawei Blue Gold Watch measures 48.5 x 48.5 x 13mm. It has a wrist size of 140-210mm and weighs around 79 grams (without the strap). The device equips a 1.5-inch LTPO AMOLED color screen with a resolution of 466 x 466 pixels and 311 PPI.

The wearable has three buttons: two rotating crowns and a feature button. It supports wireless charging and comes with 14 days of long battery life. It runs up to 8 days in typical usage. The device is compatible with Android 8, iOS 13, and HarmonyOS 2 and above devices. It also has a protective level of 10 ATM.

Huawei Watch Ultimate Design Sapphire Gold Edition is priced at 23,999 yuan and will be open for selling purposes on November 28, 2024, at VMall.
