Alipay and Huawei have jointly enhanced the one-tap pay feature for Mate 70 smartphones. The Chinese tech maker says that the respective payment capability in the Mate 70 series is faster and more efficient than several other flagship handsets.

The one-tap payment feature is present in many Android devices as well as iPhones. It enables users to make contactless payments with a single tap on their device.

One-tap payment is not only faster but even more hygienic than any other means of payment. It runs on NFC (Near Field Communication) technology for secure and quick transactions. Huawei and Alipay further improved this feature with Mate 70.

The on-site Mate 70 payment transaction showed that the one-tap pay tool is 30% more efficient than before. The device supports the ‘pay by turning on the screen’ feature that lets you touch and pay as long as the screen is on. It works with the Alipay tap-to-pay which is one step ahead of Android and faster than iPhones.

As a result, Huawei Mate 70 series can perform faster payment transactions than other devices. All you need is to tap/touch the screen and follow the on-screen steps. The Mate X6 foldable also has the same functionality to enhance user experiences.

Huawei and Alipay recently penned down strategic cooperation to bring the latest one-tap payment tool to more customers in the country.

Alipay’s touch feature lets users unlock their phones and tap on the merchant’s payment device to proceed with the transaction. Now this feature has been further enhanced with the Mate 70 series.
