Huawei Mate 70 series models expected to use super large batteries
Huawei Mate 70 series will equip several high-end capabilities and one of them is the ‘super-large batteries’. A Weibo tipster has shed new details on the upcoming flagship lineup. These are mainly related to the battery life as well as the display segments.
Weibo tipster @SmartPikachu states that the upcoming Mate lineup will likely sport customized display technology. It may equip upgraded screen solutions for more vibrant and clearer visuals. Users who look for a phone’s display can wait for Mate 70.
More on screens, the tipster said that Huawei Mate 70 models will bring different display versions. A few variants will have quad-curve slates while others could bring flat screens. Though all handsets will support 1.5K+ display resolution.
The input seems in line with a previous revelation that said, the standard Mate 70 may use the flat display while all other high-end versions could use the curved display.
Super-Large Batteries
Further inputs reveal that all the Huawei Mate 70 series models will run on super-large batteries. These cells will likely be made up of a new and powerful substrate.
Even though the substrate material is unknown, it is suspected to deliver higher energy density. Such batteries require fewer materials and lead to cost reductions. On the other hand, it fits in smaller spaces resulting in a longer battery life of the device.
Since they are made up of fewer materials, they are quite lightweight over the previous-gen cells. They also enable the device to store more energy than before and run smoothly for a long time without affecting or ruining the user experience.
Ultrasonic fingerprint – for Mate 70?
The tipster said that the Chinese OEM is speedily working on an ultrasonic fingerprint solution. Although it might not be the part of Mate 70 series. The company will likely launch it the next year either with the P80 or the Mate 80 smartphones.
Alongside Mate 70, Huawei has a new tablet that could come in November this year. The features and key specs of this tablet are currently missing. Yet we may find them in the coming days. Stay tuned.
Mate 70 is expected to bring a powerful Kirin chip on board. The device will also fetch advanced AI features to deliver an efficient experience to consumers. Apart from reliable performance, it may also use super strong cells for a durable battery life.
Huawei has officially confirmed to launch the device in the fourth quarter of this year. But an exact release date is still uncertain. Due to software and chip adaptation, the company might shift the release to November or December. Things will get more clear in the coming days.
