Being a HarmonyOS 4.2 build, the tablet owners may also witness a few hidden enhancements. To download the update visit the Settings app > System and Updates > Software Updates. Now follow the on-screen instructions to install the firmware.
Huawei has served HarmonyOS 4.2 to almost every eligible device in China. Although the global side users have only received this update for one or two wearables. For instance, Watch 4 Pro, Watch Ultimate, as well as the FreeBuds Pro 3 earphones.
Meanwhile, global tablet owners are still waiting to fetch the latest 4.2 version and experience new changes. The company has not announced any official roadmap for global devices in this subject so far.
It seems the OEM is busy with the EMUI 14.2 rollout for smartphones and will soon jump into the tablet category with the HarmonyOS 4.2 update distribution.
