Huawei MediaPad M6 series HarmonyOS 2 Beta Update Tracker

In 2019, Huawei unveiled the new series of the tablet, Huawei MediaPad M6 powered by Kirin 980 processor, a new display technology that reduces eye strain, support of GPU Turbo 3 for better gaming performance and more.

Huawei MediaPad M6 series consisted of three models:

• Huawei MediaPad M6 8.6 inch
• Huawei MediaPad M6 10.8 inch
• Huawei MediaPad M6 Turbo Edition

HarmonyOS 2 beta testing was initiated following its launch on June 2, 2021. After a week, Huawei announced the second phase of beta testing very early as expected for 11 devices. In this batch, the company also covers a tablet series, Huawei MediaPad M6.

According to the HarmonyOS 2.0 upgrade plan, the MediaPad M6 tablets will get a hands-on HarmonyOS public beta version in the fourth quarter of 2021. But, it seems that it will get early as planned.

In the closed beta session, Huawei will roll out several HarmonyOS 2.0 beta updates for testing devices via OTA upgrades. These beta updates come with features, improvements, and more.
