Huawei Nova 12 series users getting July 2024 system optimizations
Huawei Nova 12 series has started receiving new optimizations via the July 2024 update. The OEM is serving another set of enhancements to the dynamic mid-range lineup. The update is rolling out gradually and may take time to cover all variants.
July 2024 optimizations update packs several improvements related to audio, the WeChat application, and the device’s system performance. It checks and improves every section of the handset as well as makes it more stable for daily operations.
Starting with the version, Huawei Nova 12 series is getting July 2024 optimizations update with the HarmonyOS 4.2.0.138 version. It also carries an 855MB package.
Installing the latest firmware will unlock improvements for WeChat messaging scenarios, multimedia audio capability, as well as system stability of the smartphone.

Huawei Nova 12 series now has 5 models including the Nova 12 Ultra Star Edition. But unlike other Nova 12 variants, the newly released handset runs on Kirin 9010L. It’s still inferior to the Pura 70 Ultra’s 9010 chip, but far better than the new Nova models.
