Huawei Nova 9 July 2024 EMUI security update is expanding
Last week, Huawei began to roll out the July 2024 security update for the Nova 9 smartphones and now the company is expanding it to more users. After the initial rollout, the company increases the reach of the latest security benefits and bug fixes.
Meanwhile, we have entered a new month and Huawei could soon release the August 2024 security patch for the brilliant device. The OEM already has published new security details on the bulletin page. You can look at the current improvements HERE.
These software rollouts explain that Huawei keeps on improving its old, mid-range, and flagship handsets with new enhancements. We are also keeping an eye on the next major software update, possibly EMUI 14.2 for the Nova 9 smartphones.
Huawei is expanding the Nova 9 July 2024 update with the EMUI version 13.0.0.315. Users need to download a package of 393MB to install the new improvements.
The latest firmware only brings a security patch released in July 2024. Other than that, you won’t find any additions in the changelog. But the new patch aims to improve the phone’s current health and make it more reliable for users.

Huawei Nova 9 users can further grab this update via Settings > System & Updates and then tap on Software Updates. One can request the new version via the My Huawei app. Before proceeding, ensure to have enough storage in the device.
