Huawei Nova Y90 gets February 2023 update

Huawei Nova Y90 is receiving a new software update and with the latest edition of fimrware saga, the phone is getting February 2023 EMUI security patch for security iprovements.

Huawei Nova Y90 is receiving February 2023 update with EMUI build version 12.0.1.179. The update package is 317 megabytes and you should download it right away, as it pops up on the notification center.

You should know that the Huawei Nova Y90 comes with a full view display with center hole punch design and 6.7 inch screen. It also has a large 5000mAh battery that could recharge with a 40W supercharge, it also equips 50MP AI triple camera system.

The phone comes with EMUI 12 software and upgrable to EMUI 13 but there’s no official informaiton available on this matter.

This month’s patch also fixes an unauthorized access vulnerability (CVE-2022-48286) in the multi-screen collaboration module, which could have affected the confidentiality of the files that you are sharing over the air.
