Huawei opens first unmanned smart store with robot seller
Huawei has opened products stores all around the world, where customers can purchase any launched Huawei products and on January 1, Huawei opened its first official unmanned smart store in Wuhan, China.
The new smart store is designed in a cylindrical shape and the front side of this store is made of bullet-proof transparent glass. There are one large and two small robotics arms (able to rotate 360-degree) works in the store.
According to the staff, this store opens 24 hours and customers can purchase their products via a large display placed in the customer area. After a customer finalizes an order, the large robot grabs the good and puts it in the delivery area, where the small robot pushes it to the buyer.
Currently, it seems there are no heavy products such as Huawei Vision TV and consumers can only purchase smartphones and accessories, which is a good start for the company.
