Huawei P40 Lite January 2022 update

Huawei is sending the January 2022 software update for Huawei P40 Lite running on EMUI 10.1. This update increases the security patch level of the P40 Lite smartphone and protects the device against threats.

As reported by Huaweiailesi, Huawei P40 Lite January 2022 update landed on the ground with EMUI version 10.1.0.399 (C432E1R2P1). To upgrade over the latest EMUI version, the P40 Lite users need to download and install the update package size of 262MB.

However, this update is rolling out gradually and will soon cover all Huawei P40 Lite devices available in the market. On the other hand, Huawei P40 Lite is eligible to receive the next major update – EMUI 12 that will provide a brand new user experience similar to HarmonyOS.

To be mentioned, this big size EMUI update package only includes the security improvements and doesn’t have any changes made to the system. Also, it may be the last EMUI 10.1 software version before the stable EMUI 12 rollout.
