Huawei P40 Pro with EMUI 11 receives WiFi certificate, EMUI 11 beta will start after HDC 2020
Huawei is currently preparing to unveil EMUI 11 and ahead of this launch, one of the first eligible devices, Huawei P40 Pro has now grabbed its WiFi certificate with EMUI 11 onboard.
Last month, a Huawei phone with model ELS-N04 (P40 Pro) has received a Wi-Fi 6 certificate from the Wi-Fi Alliance with EMUI 11 firmware. However, the certificate still showing Android version 10, which should be Android 11 and may change at the launch.
Huawei will launch EMUI 11 at Huawei Developer Conference (HDC) 2020 on September 10 and it’ll be introduced alongside HarmonyOS and HMS Core 5.0.
Following the launch, Huawei will open internal beta testing for the Huawei P40 series with limited testers and Huawei Mate 40 series will be the first phones to come pre-installed with this latest EMUI version.
According to previous information, EMUI 11 will have a lot of new changes in the Always-on Display (AOD) design, Multi-window multitasking, and new translation services for the internal system.
