Huawei smartwatches top Q1 2023, Apple comes second
Huawei smartwatches are popular among consumers and it is now confirmed by the market researcher, Counterpoint for Q1 2023. Data reveals that Huawei has over 37% of the Chinese smartwatches market in the Q1 of 2023.
This is the largest share in the Chinese wearable segment for the quarter. However, the researcher notes that the shipment is recorded lower than the previous year. However, the company remained unaffected by this fact.
Huawei has ranked first in all of the price tags including $101 to $400. It’s also mentioned that the success behind the latest ranking is contributed by the Huawei Watch GT 3 as the second best-selling smartwatch in the first quarter.

Aside from these, China’s smartwatch shipments declined 28% YoY and 16% QoQ in Q1 2023 to reach their lowest level in 12 quarters.
