August 10, 2020:
According to the tipster – Changan Digital from Weibo, Huawei could launch this notebook on August 19, 2020.
Original Story:
Earlier this year, Huawei introduced its ultra-slim notebook – Huawei MateBook X Pro 2020 featuring the 10th gen intel processors. The notebook weighs only at 1.38kg and 14.6mm thick.
Today a Weibo tipster suggested that Huawei will launch a new MateBook X notebook and it’ll thin and lightweight in comparison to its predecessor. Also, it’ll be the first Huawei Notebook to feature the “Free Touch” pressure-sensitive touch system as well as WiFi 6 for faster internet access.
The tipster also suggests that this new notebook will launch alongside the Huawei Mate 40 series, to be introduced around October 2020. However, no details about its specs revealed at the moment.
Pressure-sensitive screen:
A pressure-sensitive touch screen allows users to interact with the device in terms of how hard they are pressing their finger on the display. This type of display can read multiple levels of pressure, allowing users to open more interface options without lifting your finger from the screen. However, the display touch sensitivity and its response time may vary.
The 2020 Huawei MateBook X Pro comes with a 13.90-inch LTPS display, with 3K resolution (3000 x 2000). The display has a 91% screen-to-body ratio for maximum viewing experience and most importantly, this notebook supports 10-point multi-touch sensitive screen with finger gestures screenshot.
Currently, it’s not confirmed, whether Huawei has planned to apply a 3D touch or something else. But by making improvements to the current design and the display, Huawei will surely improve the overall user experience.
