Huawei Watch 4 could use Zircon material
Huawei Watch 4 series could launch soon and the company may use Zircon material around the dial. It’s an interesting unveiling and would like to how the watch uses this element in design.
Tipster ClassmateGuan reveals that the new Huawei smartwatch will come with material made of Zircon. According to the information, Zircoium (ZrO2) is also called zirconia, which is the preferred form of ceramic used in watches.
The material is resistant to crack propagation. This is due to the propensity for high thermal expansion, it is often combined with steel to produce metallic alloys that provide extreme scratch-resistant ability.
This material is extremely hard, for example, its hardness is four times more than steel. It doesn’t age with time and maintains its design aesthetics for a long duration. We could understand that the Zircon could be utilized for a premium version of the Huawei Watch 4 on the watch frame and it could be expensive.
However, there are no specific details about the material itself used by Huawei.
Satellite communication:
Huawei Watch 4 could also bring satellite communication capability, which would make this smartwatch the first in the industry to come with such a feature.
Satellite communication allows users to send SMS without a mobile network and uses satellite. Huawei has currently not confirmed the launch date but we are expecting some big improvements over the predecessor.
Also, there is a lot to know about the Watch 4 and we’ll keep you posted.
