Leak: Huawei P70 series launch delay might not related to supply chain
Huawei P70 series is swirling around launch delay rumors due to certain factors, but a new input suggests that this matter has nothing to do with the supply chain. It seems some other reasons are likely pushing the official release to a new date.
Weibo tipster @SmartPikachu says that the flagship Huawei P70 series launch could delay until next month, probably to late April. However, the supply chain problem is not a reason behind this postponement, but a few other considerations.
One of the major reasons for the delayed launch might be the preparation of various products at the same time. The company is hearsay developing new notebooks, headphones, smart TVs, home products, and an ultimate premium lineup – Mate 70.
In addition, the Chinese tech giant is working on new software versions like HarmonyOS 4.0 in China and EMUI 14 beta recruitment in global regions.
Huawei has been reportedly increasing the P70 series units in advance to prevent long-term shortages. The firm even called for more CIS camera sensors to manufacture more P70 models ahead of the official launch. Hence, the supply chain doesn’t seem to be the reason for this concept.
New Launch Event this month?
Apart from the P70 series launch aspects, the tipster mentioned that the tech giant is planning to hold a new press conference this month. Here, Huawei could unveil a new FreeClip color variant, smart TVs, and a brand-new MateBook product.
Besides, the company is likely to save some offerings to unveil alongside the P70 series in the next month. However, Huawei has not confirmed any of these details yet so, we need to wait for some more time to obtain official revealings.
The tipster also mentioned a new entry-level foldable which is in the making and may belong to the Nova series in the time ahead. Thus, a lot of new products are in the pipeline to show up this year.
