My Huawei Watch GT 2 is still looking awesome in 2023

Launched in 2019, Huawei Watch GT 2 is one of the best smartwatches on the planet and the selling smart wearable for Huawei. Even after 3 years of launch, Huawei Watch GT 2 is still looking awesome for me.

Huawei Watch GT 2 series established itself as a battery king, it is the first smartwatch with such a high battery backup. In typical usage, it could serve you up to 2 weeks, which is massive power efficiency. This comes from its Kirin A1 chipset, which is self-designed by Huawei for wearables.

The power-saving algorithm 2.0 still working fantastic and Huawei Watch GT 2 taking balanced energy to connect all of the features. For those who don’t know, this watch also has smart power optimizations to enable automatic load distribution for long battery performance.

My 46mm version of the Huawei Watch GT 2 is robust and the sporty looks make it look relevant in 2023. That’s what I’ve found most intriguing about the Watch because its dial is too futuristic in all ways.

The front metal frame reflects that the watch hasn’t got a single bruise and shine on all occasions. The strap is still in action with some marks of wearing inside but this is how it goes.

Huawei Watch GT 2 is a fitness expert and all of its sensors are similar to the day one. This includes TruSlee 2.0 sleep tracking, which can diagnose 6 common types of sleep issues. SpO2 blood oxygen monitoring, TruRelax, activity monitoring, and more. Most of the time, I used it for heart rate monitoring

Huawei Watch GT 2 was one of the first smartwatches to come with smart features. These include music widgets, Bluetooth calling, message notifications, and more. Some of them helped a lot to stay connected with the phone directly from the wrist. However, Huawei maintained these capabilities with successors with more additions.

Even after a long time, Huawei releases occasional software updates for this smartwatch. Although there is no transition announced on the HarmonyOS operating system but still, Huawei Watch GT 2 is still performing awesome in 2023.
