PSA: Celia AI Voice Assistant for Huawei Mate 30 Series and MatePad Pro rolling out with EMUI 10.1
With the launch of the EMUI 10.1 and Huawei P40 series, Huawei brought its AI voice assistant – Celia, under global existence. This feature is currently expanding to devices that launched solely on Huawei Mobile Services (HMS) and may reach more later.
Recently, Huawei has started to rollout EMUI 10.1 for Huawei Mate 30 series and MatePad Pro in Europe. The changelog for both of these devices, clearly mentions the installation of Celia.
Hey Celia
Celia supports a wide range of features to help users get things done. The deep integration grants Celia access to the device’s hardware and AI.
Just hold down the power button for one second or say “Hey Celia.” This new AI assistant can perform the following tasks:
- Identify Objects
- Set Alarms
- Check Weather
- Count calories
- Make calls
- Send text messages
- Play music
- Do online shopping
- Face to face translation
- Capture photos
- Add reminders
- And more
Initially, Celia will support three languages – English, French, and Spanish and will be rolled out to Huawei Mate 30 and Huawei Mate 30 Pro on United Kingdom, France, Spain, Mexico, Chile, Columbia, and South Africa and eventually to more countries in the world.
