PUBG Mobile Global Championship 2021 (PMGC) announced with 6 million USD prize
Today, James Yang, the director of PUBG Mobile Global Esports at Tencent Games officially announced the PUBG Mobile Global Championship 2021 (PMGC) with grand prize money of 6 million USD.
As per the official announcement, the PMGC will be initiate in November this year and will conclude in January 2022, declaring an ultimate PUBG champion.
The PMGC is going to be the most magnanimous and glorious event of the PUBG Mobile Esports this year. Besides, the announced prized is three times greater than the prize money distributed in the last competition.
As informed by the Tencent Director, the PMGC will have two parts – the PMGC League, which will be conducted between November and December 2021, and the PMCG Final that is scheduled for January 2022.
Furthermore, the top players from the PUBG Mobile Pro League and regional championship (by upcoming seasons) will have the chance to qualify for the PMGC. However, director Yang didn’t confirm whether this event will take place through online channels.
This is all we have for now but there is more to be revealed about PUBG Mobile Global Championship. We are expecting the PMGC organizers to soon come up with further information about the tournament.
